For many years now, the OÖ Energiesparverband has carried out European projects on different topics in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency. Beside European projects, the international conference World Sustainable Energy Days is one of the main activities on international level.

WSED

World Sustainable Energy Days

The World Sustainable Energy Days, one of the largest annual conferences in this field in Europe, offer a unique combination of events on sustainable energy, covering energy efficiency and renewable energy sources for buildings and industry.The World Sustainable Energy Days, a global meeting place for the sustainable energy community, present the latest technology trends and offer up-to-date information on policies and markets. Complemented by the "Energiesparmesse", a leading energy exhibition, the World Sustainable Energy Days serve as a platform for interaction and offer ideal opportunities to establish new partnerships and business contacts. Energy Efficiency Watch 5

Energy Efficiency Watch 5 builds upon the activities of the first 4 Energy Efficiency Watch projects (between 2007 and 2022). Among others, the OÖ Energiesparverband is responsible for developing and implementing an extensive survey with over 1,300 energy efficiency experts in all 27 Member States and is involved in Europe-wide information activities.

HP4ALL

The HP4ALL project enhances, develops and promotes the skills required for high quality, optimised heat pump installations within residential and non-residential buildings. It focusses on training and information activities along the entire value chain. The project team includes 6 partners from 5 European countries (Ireland, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Upper Austria). POWER-E-COM

The POWER-E-COM project enables partners from 6 countries (Bulgaria, Germany, Ireland, Slovenia, Spain, Upper Austria) to support the development of energy communities. The focus is on the exchange of experiences as well as the development of information materials and tools and the networking of actors.​​​​​​​

PROSPECT+

The "PROSPECT" project, launched in June 2017, aims to help local decision makers implement sustainable energy projects. The project implements a peer-to-peer learning program for municipalities. It focuses on exchanging experience and mutual learning on how sustainable energy projects can be financed and implemented. In this project, the OÖ Energiesperverband is working with 9 partners from 7 European countries (The Netherlands, France, Belgium, Greece, Germany, Portugal, Slovakia). REMARKABLE

The Remarkable project accompanies and supports actors on the way to climate neutrality in 7 European countries (Slovenia, France, Sweden, Ireland, Belgium, Spain, Upper Austria) with different methods. Among other things, further training offers, information material and networking activities are being developed.

UP-STAIRS

The UP-STAIRS project accelerates the creation of energy communities. It develops flexible and iterative business model frameworks for One-Stop-Shops for local collective actions which support local stakeholders in working together. UP-STAIRS facilitates citizen participation in the energy transition and supports them in becoming prosumers. One-Stop-Shops are set-up in 5 pilot regions in Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Ireland and Spain. The project team includes 10 partners from 7 European countries. URBAN TECH

The project aims to develop solutions for all aspects of green tech, smart cities and health tech. For this purpose, companies in these areas are networked with innovative SMEs and start-ups throughout Europe. In this project, the Energiesparverband is working with 10 partners from 8 European countries (Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Lithuania, Slovenia, Germany, Poland and Portugal).
